MermeArt is a blend of emotions united with art, where the family bond of those behind this project and the qualities of each one forge the pillars that give value to each of the flavors of our handmade gourmet organic jams.

In 2015, after the loss of María Elena, wife and mother, MermeArt aimed to be an idea to unleash creativity, expressing feelings through art and food made with love to connect with those we miss the most. Juan De Dios, María's husband, initially took care of cutting the fruits, arranging the jars for their final presentation and beyond that, he connected with a new world that allowed him to heal, doing something he loved that would later have a valuable purpose in the community.

The painting behind our inspiration was created by Valentina Gutiérrez, who has been an important member of MermeArt Family.

Everything started formally in 2016, were the idea of connecting concepts such as art, fruits, health with something innovative full of flavors and combinations was transformed in MermeArt's strength to indulge in the unique art of natural fruits and colorful flavors by preparing gourmet organic jams.

Giuseppe Arcimboldo is the name of the artist that started the concept of painting human faces mixed with natural elements such as fruits, flowers, vegetables and other objects. This type of art is considered avant-garde and surreal

In that year, MermeArt embarked on a journey towards different textures, flavors, combinations and artistic elements that are the image of the brand today.

Beginnings

In 2020

Everything started when Valentina was inspired to recreate her old painting related to Arcimboldo, which was the original logotype of MermeArt since 2016. In 2020, she was 18 years old, still in collage with a vision of creativity to draw something fresh, colorful and realistic. Which resulted in the MermeArt's image that we know today.

Exhibitions

A journey of adventure

Valentina created a painting that had an impact in different ways were a new concept of Arcimboldo's work was reflected as something vivid following the artists line related to realism.

It was presented in Caracas, Venezuela in an exposition of here Art workshop TEA (Artistic Expression Workshop) in which she has been part since she was 5 years old.

Now on Valentina is 22 years old, she studies Social Communications and related here career with visual arts focusing on creating innovative ideas for distinct projects such as MermeArt. Were she structured MermeArt's web, social networks and label.
